Community Outreach and Evangelism

The Outreach and Evangelism Ministry’s goal is to empower and build up the children of God by equipping them with the information that will assist them in being a witness of the gospel. It is also our focus to provide items and services to those in need during pivotal times throughout the year.

We welcome groups and organizations, with at least 10 members, to join us on second Sundays during our 10:30 a.m. service. We also provide our “Meet and Greet Buffet” following service.

Serving as a conduit for FWPC to new members, this ministry provides orientation and training in the areas of salvation, baptism, and baby dedication. Through Intake Services, new members are given an overview of the services provided by our church. This ministry operates to help new members become acclimated to their new church home by providing information about our various ministries, training, special services, upcoming events, and so much more!
Member Services is a critical part of our church motto, “Bring Them In, Build Them Up, Send Them Out!” This ministry serves to build up new members by providing a foundation in God on which to continued to build. Member Services is the start to establishing a genuine, caring relationship with all new members, but most importantly a lasting and faithful relationship with God.

Transportation

The Transportation Ministry provides shuttle services to and from our church for members and visitors. Services also include pick-up locations for students on FAMU, FSU & TCC campuses.

Pre-Marital/Marital Counseling
Family Worship and Praise Center’s Pre-Marital and Marital Counseling services teaches biblical and practical principles of marriage and life prior to entering marriage covenants as well as provides Godly counsel during the marriage.
Singles Ministry

Alter Workers are a team of intercessory prayer leaders who not only go to God on your behalf at your request, but also teach you how to talk to God for yourself.
Deacons & Deaconess
Reaching beyond our walls, the spiritual, mental, and physical well-being of the children of God is the core mission of this ministry. FWPC deacons and deaconesses also assist with carrying out sacramental ordinances such as baptism, child dedication, and Communion.

HOPE & CFF Scholarship

FWPC offers two annual scholarships, the HOPE Scholarship and the CFF Scholarship that offer financial assistance for tuition or books to students who have successfully completed all required criteria for attending a post-secondary or trade school.
