WHO WE ARE

Our Scriptural Basis

God setteth the solitary in families. ~ Psalms 68:6

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth; for the father seeketh such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. ~ John 4:23-24

Our Name

Family

A group of people connected by blood. As born again Christians, we are redeemed by the blood of Christ, the only begotten Son of God, making us brothers and sisters; therefore a “Family.” Once we accept Christ as our Lord and personal Savior, God adopts us as members of His family through the blood of Christ shed on the cross at Calvary.

Worship

The term worship derives from the word weorthscipe, worth and ship, which means being worthy of reverence and honor. When we worship God, we are declaring His worth. To worship, we must know that the Lord is God. We give our reverence, our respect, and our repentant selves to Him (Psalms 89:7). The Lord is God over us. He is transcendent, above, and beyond us, and yet the Lord our God is imminent, near, and with us. We praise and worship Him because of who He is – God, and besides Him there is none other. Worship affirms the goodness of God in our lives. We can declare with assurance that the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth and grace endures to all generations. We worship Him because He is our Creator, our Defender, our Shield, our Redeemer, our Friend, our Provider, our Healer, and our Peace.

Praise

A celebration of jubilation and confirmation through expressions of words and songs that glorify and praise the Lord for His wonderful works – healings, miracles, blessings, goodness, grace, and mercy toward His people (Psalms 105, 106, 149 & 150).

Center

The middle or pivotal point around which all activity, life and business rotates, concentrates, and originates. The church is more than just a building where organized believers fellowship, pray, and worship. It is the center of all that we do to effectuate the salvation of lost souls through the extended arms of ministries, programs, and services.

Our Motto

“Worship Him for who He is and praise Him for what He has done.”

Our Theme

“Bring Them In…Build Them Up…Send Them Out!”
