What is Baptism?

Baptism is a demonstration of a person’s faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Baptism, which is the act of being immersed in and raised out of water, is symbolic of  joining Jesus in His death and experiencing His resurrection into new life. Baptism also represents a cleansing through the forgiveness of sin. Jesus instructs everyone who has believed in Him to be baptized.
